Remarkable Gutter Installation in Portland & Vancouver
Portland gets over 40 inches of rain a year. Your gutters are the only thing standing between all that water and your foundation, siding, and landscaping. We install 5-inch and 6-inch gutter systems sized right for your home and built to handle PNW rainfall.
5” and 6” Gutters for Pacific Northwest Homes
Gutters That Actually Handle Portland Rain
A gutter system that works in Arizona isn’t built for the Pacific Northwest. Here, you’re dealing with heavy, steady rain for months at a time. If your gutters can’t keep up, water ends up where it shouldn’t, pooling around your foundation, running down your siding, damaging your fascia, and washing out your landscaping. We also repair existing gutter systems when it makes sense. If you’re dealing with a leaking joint, a sagging section, or a damaged downspout, a targeted fix can often solve the problem without the need for a full replacement.
5" and 6" Options for Every Home
We assess your roof size, pitch, and water volume during the estimate and recommend the right gutter size for your specific home.
Fascia Inspection Included
We check your fascia boards before installation. If there’s rot or damage, we repair it first so your new gutters mount to solid wood.
Repairs When a Fix Is All You Need
Leaking joint, sagging section, or damaged downspout? If a repair solves the problem, that’s what we’ll recommend.

How We Install Your Gutters
From the first estimate to the final downspout, here’s what to expect.
01
On-Site Assessment & Estimate
We measure your roofline, assess your roof pitch and drainage needs, and inspect the fascia for any damage. Based on our findings, we recommend either 5-inch or 6-inch gutters and will provide a clear, written estimate with no surprises.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions About Gutter Installation and Repair Services
Straight answers to the questions we hear most from homeowners about our 5” and 6” inch gutters.
Should I get 5-inch or 6-inch gutters?
It depends on your roof. Standard 5-inch K-style gutters work well for smaller homes with simple rooflines. For larger homes, steep pitches, long gutter runs, or properties with heavy tree coverage, 6-inch gutters are usually the better choice. They hold nearly 50% more water than 5-inch systems and pair with oversized 3″x4″ downspouts that move water away from the house much faster. Portland gets over 40 inches of rain a year, so having gutters that can handle heavy downpours matters. We’ll measure your roof and recommend the right size during your estimate.
How do I know if my gutters need replacing?
Look for gutters pulling away from the fascia, visible cracks or splits, persistent leaks at joints, sagging sections, rust or corrosion, water overflowing during rain, peeling paint or water stains on your siding, and erosion or pooling water around your foundation. If you’re seeing several of these signs, your gutters are probably past the point of repair. One or two issues in specific spots may be fixable with a targeted repair.
Can you install gutters at the same time as my roof replacement?
Yes, and it’s often the ideal time to do it. When the old roof comes off, we can inspect and repair the fascia boards before the new gutters go on. That gives your gutters a solid mounting surface from the start. Bundling the projects also means one crew, one timeline, and one cleanup instead of two separate visits.
What happens if my fascia is rotted?
We repair or replace the damaged fascia before installing new gutters. Mounting gutters to rotted wood is a recipe for sagging and failure. Portland’s wet climate causes fascia rot in many older homes, so we check for it during every gutter estimate. We’ll let you know the condition of your fascia and include any needed repair in the quote.
